At FIU, Nour conducted research related to the design and development of novel power electronic systems that utilize wide-bandgap devices for renewable energy systems and electric vehicles, this research will reduce the size, weight, and total cost of the power converters of these systems. Nour has been awarded four US patents for research related to new power converter topologies that can be used for automotive and renewable energy systems. Additionally, he has published 11 IEEE journal articles. He currently works as a senior power electronics design engineer at Schneider Electric, Andover, MA.
