Ahmed A. Saad received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Helwan University, Cairo, in 2007 and 2012 respectively. Between 2007 and 2017, he was working as a teaching assistant at faculty of engineering, Helwan University, Egypt. Now he is studying for PhD in the Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Florida International University (FIU), USA. Also, he works as a research assistant at Energy System Research Laboratory (ESRL), FIU. His research interests in power system analysis and stability, wide area measurement systems, smart grid technologies and applications, new intelligent approaches to large scale power system integration in renewable energy resources and MVDC systems control and stability.
