Biography Alberto Berzoy  is a Ph.D. candidate at Florida International University (FIU) since September 2013. In FIU, he is a Teaching Assistant where he teaches the Power System Laboratory I.He received the B.S. degree in electronics engineering from Simón Bolívar University (USB), Caracas, Venezuela, in 2003.  He awarded two scholarchips “Fundacion Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho (FUNDAYACUCHO)” and Asociacion Venezolana Americana de la Amistad (AVAA)” as an undergraduate student for excellence. In 2008 Mr. Berzoy received M.S. degree in electronics engineering from Simón Bolívar University. His master was focus in power electronics and his dissertation topic was Power Active Filtering.He worked 7 years, from 2002 to 2009, in the industry of communications as engineer and also as project developer.  He is currently an Aggregate Professor of electronics engineering in the Electronics and Circuit Department of Simón Bolívar University since 2009.
