  • Received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Zagazig University, Egypt, in 2008 and 2012, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at Florida International University, Energy Systems Research Laboratory, USA.
  • From 2008 to 2013, he was a Research and Teaching Assistant with the Department of Electrical Power and Machines, Zagazig University, Egypt. His research focus on modelling, design and control of inductive wireless power transfer systems for as well as smart-grid applications. Additionally, his research interests include maximum power point tracking of Photovoltaic systems, DC-DC converters, electrical machines, artificial intelligence, active power filtering, and adaptive control.
  • Mr. Mohamed was a recipient of the Best Paper Award in the Travel Scholarships Special Poster Session at the IEEE IECON Conference, Dallas, TX, in October 2014.
