Biography |
Ahmed Aghmadi is an accomplished professional with a robust academic background and a fervent commitment to advancing the field of Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energies. He earned his B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering and Renewable Energies in 2015 from Hassan I University, Morocco, followed by an M.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering in 2017 from Mohammed V University, Rabat, Morocco. Delving into the forefront of research, between 2018 and 2021, Mr. Aghmadi became a research assistant in forecasting, machine learning, and energy management systems at Mohammed V University, Rabat, Morocco. Since August 2021, Mr. Aghmadi has been an integral part of Florida International University, where he serves as a Ph.D. student and Graduate Research Assistant at the Energy Systems Research Laboratory. His role involves actively contributing to cutting-edge research initiatives addressing critical challenges in renewable energy systems, Networked Microgrids, and power systems. Mr. Aghmadi’ s dedication and scholarly contributions were recognized with the “FIU ECE Ph.D. First Author Paper Incentive Awards” in 2023. Beyond his academic pursuits, Ahmed assumes a leadership role as the IEEE PES (Power & Energy Society) Secretary for the Chapter in Region 3-Miami Section.
