IEEE Miami Section Recognize Dr. Eldeeb for his services and Academic Achievements.
Today, April 2nd 2021, Prof. Mohammed, IEEE Fellow, the vice-dean of research College of Engineering and Computing, Florida International University, and the V. chair of the IEEE Miami Section presented the Section’s Honor Plaque to Dr. Hassan Eldeeb, the Secretary of IEEE Miami section and the V. chair of the IEEE IAS chapter of Miami section, for his professional services, devotion to promote diversity and equity within the chapter, and his research achievements.
Since August 2016, Dr. Eldeeb, who was also a Ph.D. student at the Energy Systems Research Lab, is an active member at the IEEE Miami section and its chapters. He volunteered in the following positions.

Beside his professional activities, Dr. Eldeeb is well-known researcher in the area of motor drives and automotive power electronics application. He is the author/Co-author of 10 IEEE Transaction articles, 25 Conference papers at major IEEE Conferences, and he hold 1 patent from the US patents office in the area of diagnosis and control of motor drives systems.
He believes that Research should have direct impact on industry. That is why he decided to accepted the offer from R&D technical center of a major automotive company within the USA after he defended his Ph.D. degree in March 2021. He is looking forward to make impact in the transportation electrification industry through his new position.
