He received the B.S. degree (Hons.) in electrical and computer engineering from Rice University, Houston, TX, USA, in 2008, and the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Florida International University, Miami, FL, USA, in 2016. From 2008 to 2012, he was a Systems Engineer with Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital and Goldman Sachs, New York, NY, USA. From 2012-2017, he was a Systems Engineer in FL, USA. Since 2017, he has been CTO at ON Energy Storage, an Energy Storage developer focused on Latin American projects. His research interests are in the area of smart grids, microgrids, distributed control, optimization, machine learning, renewable energy, and energy storage.
