Biography: Mohammad Mahmoudian Esfahani is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree at Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, College of Engineering and Computing, Florida International University at the Energy Systems Research Laboratory.

His current research interests include power system optimization, real-time measurement, monitoring, control and protection of smart grids and microgrids.

He received the B.Sc. Degrees in electrical engineering from Shahid Rajaee University, Tehran, Iran, in 2009 and his M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), Isfahan, Iran, in 2012.

He had been with Esfahan Regional Electric Company, Isfahan, Iran (2009-2016), as a consultant engineer and project manager.
