Abstract: My research area mainly deals with the development interoperable future electricity grid architecture explicitly for wide area time synchronized closed loop control, smart substation automation and decentralized active distribution networks. The result is to take actions to prevent from blackout and system collapse according to time synchronized wide area measurements, where self-sufficient active distribution networks are capable of continuous operation. Wide area monitoring and active control in power system engineering requires interdisciplinary research to enhance the capabilities of new grid such as information technology, communication and automation such as multi-agent approach, C37.118 synchrophasor protocol and IEC 61850 framework.hazar-1                                 hazar-2                                          hazar-3
